The sheep were originally made as crib sheep and are very popular with collectors today.
The body stands on fragile wooden legs, the body is wrapped in wool felt, hence the name "wool sheep".
These adorable animals are made in Germany, more precisely in the Erzgebirge. This region is especially known for its woodwork.
