Beautiful antique Santa claus chocolate mold made of tinned metal.

The mold consists of exact fitting front- and backside.
Stamped is the mold with #180 and both exact fitting halves with #11.

It comes from the famous german chocolate mold factory HERIS, Nuremberg.
The shape has no dents or holes, dark spots are just abrasion of the tin alloy.

We have lovingly cleaned the shape, while preserving its almost magical patina and so it is today a great decoration piece, not only for the Christmas season.
Due to its almost perfect condition inside, it is still suitable for pouring chocolate. It's also a great collector's item.

Background information on HERIS, Nuremberg:
The HERIS Nürnberg Form and Metalware factory was founded in 1900 and produced chocolate molds, cookie cutters and baking and biscuit molds. It is not known when exactly the production was stopped.
